Step1 Warm up

1. Sing a song

2. Greetings and free talk

a. How is the weather today?

b. How many seasons are there in a year?

c. Which season do you like(best)? Why?

【设计意图:从谈论天气开始进入本节课的学习,Free talk 内容与天气和季节息息相关,不仅复习了所学知识,也利于老师了解学生对于知识掌握的能力和程度。同时,在Free talk比较轻松自在的环境下,学生能立刻参与到英语对话中来,为进一步拓展知识凝聚了动力。】

Step2 Meet a new friend

1. Introduce new friend

T: Today, we are going to meet a new friend, Mr. Frog.

Let’s learn something about him.

He is 4 years old. He has a good friend-Bunny Nico. He and Nico like summer best, because they can eat ice creams in summer. He also likes to travel around the world. When he comes to a place, he always takes many photos. Let’s enjoy some of his photos.

2. Let’s enjoy

Ss enjoy the photos.

T: Can you find four seasons in his photos?

T: Great! When Mr. Frog goes travelling, he always buys gifts. This time, he prepares a gift for you. Do you want it?

Then you need to finish 1, 2, 3, 4, four tasks to get it. OK?
