Pre-reading

Hello, boys and girls! How are you?

What day is it today? What’s the weather like today?

Which season is it now?(spring)

What do you usually do in spring? (fly kites, ride a bike, have a picnic…)

I had a spring outing last Saturday and took some new friends.

.(带来一些小蝌蚪)

Look! Who are they?(tadpoles)

What does the tadpole look like?(It’s black. It’s small. It can swim. …)

But the tadpoles are not happy. They can’t find their mother. Who is their mother?(frog)(出示卡片)

What does the frog look like?(It’s green. It’s big. It can jump….)

The frog is so big and the tadpole is so small. The frog can jump and the tadpole can swim. Do you have any questions?How does the tadpole become a frog? Where are the tadpoles from?(出示课题蝌蚪)

设计意图:蝌蚪长大后会变成青蛙是小朋友很小的时候就掌握的知识,于是利用孩子们的这个已知去引导学生去关注蝌蚪和青蛙颜色、形态、生活环境的不同,从而引发学生对蝌蚪如何变成青蛙这一未知过程的好奇,激发学生阅读绘本的兴趣。
