Teaching procedures 教学过程

Step 1 Greeting

Step 2 Song time

1. Listen to the song: Polly, put the kettle on

2. 齐唱歌曲Polly, put the kettle on

【设计意图:通过齐唱“Polly, put the kettle on”复习巩固上一节课所学歌曲,同时也借助于唱歌达到热身活动的目的,帮助学生以愉悦的心情进入英语课堂。】

1. Look and find

T: Look at this picture, are all the children helping parents too?

No? OK, so who is helping parents? Please look and find.

If you can’t see the picture clearly, you can open your English book.

S5: No.3, No.5 … (引导学生说出做家务图片序号)

2. Remember and say

T: Good job, now please look at these 6 pictures again, and remember what they are doing. You have one minute.

S6: (1 minute later) The boy is sweeping the floor …

(引导学生根据回忆说出六个家务类动词短语)

【设计意图:1. 通过快速找使学生注意力集中于家务类短语,并在be + doing句型中进行复习强化训练。2. 通过快速记忆说句子,训练了学生的观察能力和记忆能力。】

3. Play a game

T: So they are helping parents do housework, what about other children? Let’s play a game about the picture. And here’s the rule. (阅读规则)

T: In order not to make mistakes, you can practice the sentences in groups of four. You have two minutes.

T: Now, let’s play the game. (邀请两组派代表掷骰子,并按规则玩游戏)

【设计意图:1. 通过游戏增加趣味性,调节课堂气氛。2. 齐问齐答形式巩固现在进行时句型。3. 由于任何一人回答错误就会倒退一格,要求全体学生零错误发挥,要求赛前体现团队合作精神,帮助实力弱的队员进行句型操练。】

T: Now let’s play a game.

1. T: I have three phrases here. They are about “Who”, “What” and “Where”. You should make a sentence with these phrases.

For example: you play football in the playground

You are playing football in the playground.

Jim’s father eat apples near the shop

Jim’s father is eating apples near the shop.
