Listen and fill

At first, teacher shows students a picture and encourages them to ask some questions. Then, teacher shows more information about the picture but some words are missing, students need to listen carefully and try to fill in the blanks.

Let’s chant

After filling in the blanks, students work in pairs and try to chant: In the morning, I like to sing. And watch the flowers growing.

Look and say

Teacher shows another picture which is in the evening. Teacher encourages students to look at the picture and try to say something. Then listen to the chant and try to fill in the blanks.

After filling in the blanks, students work in pairs and try to chant: In the evening, I like to sit. And listen to the wind blowing. After this, the class chant together.

Read and find

Teacher lets students watch the words: morning, sing, evening blowing and try to find all these words contain ‘ing’ and pronounce /??/. Then, students say more words, such as: bring, spring, king, etc.

Make a chant

Students work in groups and try to make a new chant. For example: In spring, I like fishing. And watch the fish swimming.
