I. Warm-up
1. Greet:

T: Look at the screen! This is a cake. Let’s count! How many candles? (Ss:…) Here, I’ve got some cake for you. This cake is for Group 1-4. In this lesson, if you can answer my question, your group will get a candle. In the end, the cake is for the winner who get most candles.
II．Lead-in
1. 白板出示熊猫图片
T：I’ve got a picture of panda. Look hare.(放大图片，圈出信息) There are some words. Who can read it?(请学生读信息)
2. 白板出示猴子图片
T: And I’ve got a picture of monkey. Look.(放大图片，圈出信息) There are some words too. Who can read it?(请学生读信息)
3. 播放A1动画
T: Is it true？Let’s look at the screen！（播放M9U1A1动画）
T: Why is the dog so surprised？(Ss: …) Now please open your book. And turn to page 50. Let’s listen and repeat A1. Don’t forget to point to the sentences what you hear. Are you ready?（点读课文）
4. 导入新课
T: How old are you? (找一个学生回答，引导学生回答：I’ m …)
T: Do you want to know how old are your classmates? We should make an age card. How to make an age card? Let’s watch the cartoon. （同学们，你想知道你的同学的名字吗？我们可以做一个年龄卡，什么是年龄卡呢，怎么做呢？让我一起看动画吧！）
III. 新课呈现
1. 请同学们看动画，找出年龄牌吧。（CD－ROM课件播放动画）
T: Please find the age card. And answer: What’s wrong with Daming? Now let’s begin.（播放动画）
T: Do you find the age card？（Ss: Yes.）（CD课件中放大图片，圈出年龄卡）Where is it? Is it an age card? （Yes, it is.）。Then What’s wrong with Daming？（Ss: 他把年龄牌戴反了）Yes, he is so careless. But we should be careful.
2. 听音跟读，讲解新句型
T: Now class, let’s listen and repeat. Then think: How old you, Sam/Damin/Lingling? (白板出示问题) Don’t forget to point to the sentences what you hear! Are you ready?(Ss: Yes.)（点读课文）
（点到“How old are you, Daming?”时，讲解新句型，板书“How old are you?” 出示单词卡： how old, are）
（点到“I’m six, too.”时，讲解新句型，板书“I’m six.” 出示单词卡： too。老师对照Sam的年龄牌，指出大明也6岁，所以用“too”）
