Step 1 Warming up & lead-in

Let’s chant. 【复习M8U1活动1 chant】

lead-in：

1）T: ”Look! What am I drawing?” 【教师手绘地图，学生猜出中国地图】

在中国地图上带领学生复习方位单词north/south/east/west；

小组PK赢中国旅游图。

Step 2：Task 1

Listen and answer:

How many cities can you hear? What are they?

【合上书听录音，说出所听城市名：Beijing,Suzhou,Guangzhou, Lhasa】

Listen and stick: where are they? 【二次听录音，在地图上粘贴城市名】

Step 3：以北京为范例进行重点教授。

---Where’s Beijing?

---It’s in the north of China.

1.T问，Ss齐答；

2. T问，小组齐答；

3. T问，个人回答（随机抽签）

Step 3：Task 2 ---Pair work

Ask and answer in pairs.【同桌之间对其余三个城市进行问答练习】

A:Where’s Suzhou/Lhasa/ Guangzhou?

B: It’s in the east/west/south of China.

同桌练习2分钟；

随机抽取几组进行问答。

【T：Where’s Beijing? ...We know Beijing is the capital of China.（板书）

How about the other three cities?（板书）_____is a/an _____city.】
