教学过程:

复习旧知

1.Pointing Game

T: We have a lesson in this new classroom.

T: Where is the north? S 寻找北。

2.T: How can we know the north?

教师出示指南针:Look! It can help us. What’s this? Who invented this?

3、 T: We know the directions with the compass. 提问学生:T: If you lost in the forest or in the desert, how would you know the directions?

S: The sun, the stars, the moon, the trees.

5. 教师利用PPT出示地图:Look! This is a map of China.

提问:How can we know the directions on the map? We should use a sign. Let’s draw together.

教师带着学生画方向标:North points up. South points down. West points left. East points right.

实投带领学生认识地图,并指一指: Zhejiang is in the east of China.

主体课文

T: Our country is great. I’m very proud of our country.

1. (PPT)出示图片: 一边观看,教师一边介绍 (使用课文中的语句)

出示四个城市图片T:Which city can you see?

S: I can see…. T: Look at this map.请学生拿出地图, 教师提问:Can you find them on the map? Circle, please.

T: Share with your partner. Where are they?

S 两人一组说一说找到了哪些城市。

T: Where are they? Let’s watch.

听第一遍,整体感知课文内容.请学生回答。

2. T: Where is…? (板书)

教师引导进入课文:Where is Beijing?

3. 课文学习:

*听第二遍听完订正答案:Where is Beijing?It’s in the north of ….并在黑板地图上指明位置。(贴) T补全板书

T: What about Beijing? S: Beijing is the capital of China.

4. Let’s listen and repeat.

5. Read the text together.
