T: Boys and girls. Tomorrow is Saturday, what are you going to do? S:I’m going to play basketball, have a picnic ….. T:Do you want to know what happens to Daming, Simon and his mum?

(设计意图:通过对上一节课的单词和对话的复习,并在潜移默化中运用了be going to 这一句型,更好的为本课新知识的呈现做好铺垫。)

Step 2、Presentation and Practice

在新课呈现部分,首先在多媒体上呈现本节课对话内容的关键单词:picnic, hungry, half past twelve, one hour, rain, sandwiches and drinks, dry, naughty. 让学生在听第一遍录音时,听到这些单词就举手示意。

(设计意图:让学生对本节课有一个大概的印象。)

2、新单词:cloud, dark, cloudy, dry, later. 将这些单词的图片出示给学生。再来领学生做关于这些单词的练习:

Please finish your homework ﹍. I need your help now.

There are some ﹍ ﹍ , so the weather is ﹍ .

It was winter, cold and ﹍ . After these ﹍ days, everyone hopes for rain.

(设计意图:让学生以图片的形式来学习单词,更有利于帮助记忆,再加以习题巩固,以此达到学习单词,词不离句的效果。)

Play the conversation again with the subtitle, ask students to pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Lead students to role play and act out.

(设计意图:给学生时间来练习对话,以此提高学生说的能力,与此同时,让其余同学化身评委,对每组表演的同学进行纠错和点评,以此来调动全班同学的积极性。)

4、展示结束后,让学生合上书本,回顾本节课对话的内容。再将对话改编成小文章填空的形式,来帮助学生记忆细节:

At ﹍ ﹍ ﹍,they see some ﹍ ﹍on the lake. In the sky, there are some ﹍ ﹍. It’s going to ﹍ soon.

At ﹍ ﹍ ﹍, they have their ﹍ . They have ﹍ and ﹍ . Weather : It’s ﹍ now. They run to a ﹍ place. The ﹍ ﹍ are eating their ﹍ , so they’re going to stay ﹍ .

(设计意图:运用此部分的活动来加深学生对整篇对话学习的印象。)

Step 3、Consolidation

以be going to句型为前提做一个新的对话,让每组同学以此来开展对话。

(设计意图:新课标指出,要重视语言的应用性和实践性,让学生以小组为单位,自创情景,看哪组运用的句子多,为学生的综合语言运用能力搭设平台,同时也培养了学生的合作意识、探究意识和创新精神。)

Step 4、Homework

让学生制作一个关于周末的活动计划。并且熟记本单元单词。

板书设计:

What are you going to do ?

I’m going to......

When are we going to eat?

I’m going to eat at...
