V. Teaching Procedures

Step 1.Warming up/ Revision

Sing a song “Father and mother”

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Li.

T: Today, we’ll learn Unit 3. This is my father. Lesson 16. Read together “This is my father”

At first, let’s sing a song together “Father and mother”.

OK. Stand up.(边拍手边唱)

设计意图:通过唱一首本单元相关英文歌曲帮助学生进入英语学习状态,活跃课堂气氛。

2.Review the words of family members.

T: Great! /Sounds wonderful! Next, let’s review some words about our family members. Look at these pictures. Do you know them?

Ss: Yes!

T: Ok! Next, follow the light, say them quickly. OK?

Ss: OK!

设计意图:简单的复习过程,配合着聚光灯的使用,将同学们的注意力集中起来!

Step 2. Presentation

Learn the new words and sentences

T: Well done! Look at these photos, they are your family members. Of course, some of you. OK. If he or she is your family, stand up and introduce them to us.

(到最后一幅照片时)Now, look at this family photo. There are two family members under the picture. Guess, who are they?

设计意图:通过孩子们自己的家人展示,吸引了孩子们的眼球,也复习了之前所学的家庭人物称呼。也为新知的呈现做了铺垫。

T: Li Yongxing, who are they?

Student 1: My grandfather and my grandmother. (预设:生可能会说出来,然后师进行进一步的解释)。
