新课程强调“课程是经验”,要求教师在教学中要从学生已有的做事经验出发,努力营造宽松和谐的英语气氛,引导学生主动参与语言实践活动;本课突出学生的主体性,教师对句型、语法内容不做过多的讲解,而是紧紧围绕着“不同场合着装得体重要性”这一主题,通过任务型活动的途径,让学生积极体验和参与,在合作交流中习得语言知识,大胆实践,以形成积极的学习态度,达到学以致用的较高境界。
四、本课教法、学法分析:
根据本课的特点和学生的实际情况,我利用了直观教学法来进行导入教学。比如:呈现Section A中3的图片和问题来复习上节课的宾语从句并导入今天要学的内容。此外,主要通过“任务型教学途径”来实施教学。为了实现“为用而学,用中学,学了就用”的理念,充分发挥学生的主动性和创造性,以交流和合作的学习方式,实现任务目标,感受成功,让学生学会独立思考的良好习惯。教师通过观察、监控课堂活动,对学生的交际过程起了促进作用。《英语新课程目标》要求学生应该积极主动地投入任务活动中,大胆开口说英语和使用英语。通过任务活动,培养学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣,同时也培养了他们交流与合作的能力。通过本课的任务学习使他们能在互动、开放和创造中表现自己、发展自己!

六、教学过程:
Step1. Revision
1. Talk about the importance of uniforms.
2. Work in pairs. Talk about the picture on Page 90 3 to review the object clauses.
3. Lead in Section B.
Step2. Presentation
1. Show the first picture in 1a to the students. Ask the students to guess what the man should wear on this kind of occasion. Then ask them, “Is it right for the man to wear jeans to a formal meeting?”
2. Let the students listen to the first conversation of 1a and answer the question, “What should the man wear?” Let the students answer, then check the answers.
3. Ask and answer in the same way to finish the other two pictures.
Step3. Consolidation
1. Let the students listen to 1a and follow it.
2. Let the students read 1a, find out and master the sentences about object clauses with “wh-questions” and the sentences of giving suggestions.
3. Let the students finish 1b, then check the answers with the whole class.
Step4. Practice
1. Ask the students to look at the pictures and make sentences, using “It’s +adj. + for Sb. to do…” and “ It’s +adj. + that 从句…”
2. Encourage some students to write down their answers on the blackboard and then check the answers together. Finish 2.
Step 5. Project and homework
1. Ask the students discuss in groups about how to dress correctly on different occasions.
2. Collect some information about wearing suitable clothes in different countries.
3. Finish Section B in your workbook.
4. Preview Section C.
