能力较强的学生能运用一些简单的阅读策略，如寻读、略读，猜词。
2.学习策略
1）学生能够通过看故事题目及插图预测故事、推测故事大意等活动法发展简单的阅读技巧。
2）学生对所学内容，能主动练习并实践，积极运用所学的英语进行表达和交流，进行角色扮演讲故事。
3. 情感态度目标：
1）学生有兴趣读故事、讲故事、积极分析动物的特性。
2）培养学生乐于助人，但善于分辨善恶，遇到坏人要运用智慧取胜的意识。

六、教学过程:
Step1. Greeting
教师与学生互相问好，以Lesson9英文歌谣Let's chant!来开场，并将全班分成男女生两大组，轮流说歌谣。
（设计思路：学生和老师相互问候并唱歌谣即复习了数字和动物名称，又营造了轻松愉快的课堂氛围，通过比赛的形式将学生的积极性调动起来。）
Step2: Pre-reading
1.T：Do you remember the story of Unit1? What happened?
S:The rabbit is stuck. The farmer and animals help the rabbit. They pull it out.
（设计思路：让学生回忆一单元的故事，复习“Help! Pull! What happened? Please”这些重点句子和单词的含义，达到以旧带新的目的，为本课故事的理解，扫清障碍。）
Step 3. While-reading
1.T: Look at the questions! Who are they? Where are they? What happened? Now watch and listen carefully!
引导学生说出故事的人物，猜测地点，简述发生的事情。The sheep helped the wolf, but the wolf wants to eat the sheep. The monkey helped the sheep.
（设计思路：学生观看生动形象的故事视频，帮助学生整体感知故事、锻炼学生听力，用几个简单的问题检查视听后的理解情况，初步了解故事大概、人物）
2.Read the story
T:The monkey helped the sheep. He had a good idea. What's the idea?
S: Do it again!
T: Yes, you are right. I think he is a clever monkey. 板书：The Clever Monkey
T: The wolf wanted to eat the sheep. Is it a good wolf or a bad wolf?
S: A bad wolf.
T: What do you think about the sheep? Can you find a sentence in the story? Which picture?
