Ⅲ Teaching Process

Step1 Class opening and review

T: Hello everybody, do you like to travel ? Where do you go ? And what do you see? Please show your composition of your travel.

S: One student talks about his/her travel.

Step2 Group work and talk about

T: I think everybody likes to travel. But what do we need for the trip?

Can you guess? Group work think about and write down them.

(Students work in groups and write down there need for the trip.)

T: OK. Let have a look what do we need?(Students come to the blackboard and show their need.)

Step3 Knowledge extension

T: Everything is ready, let’s go on trips to Beijing by train. Listen ,the train is coming !(ppt the train comes.)

On the train , what can you see? What are they doing . Please imagine boldly every situation.(about 5 minutes)

T: Time’s up. Let’s show your results. Please use the sentence

I see … He /She is … They are …(students show the results)

T: When you listen to your classmates’ report results , please pay attention to the verbs with ing and record them.(Ss record and classify verbs, contains verb add ing, verbs take away “e ” add ing , double the last letter add ing, change “ie ” into y add ing .)

Let the class report theirs not results.

T: Our friends Li Ming , Jenny and Danny come to Beijing too. On their way to the hotel, there is a big park. In the park, what can you see? What are they doing ? Can you guess?

Step4 Introduction

T: On your holiday , do you always go on trips?

Ss:Yes.

T: OK. Please show your photos or picture of your trips and introduce it to us.

(Students show their photos or pictures and describe it in their own words.)

Step5 Class closing

Spring is coming , the is warmer and warmer. On your holiday, please go out to travel some places and enjoy the air and the scenery! Have a lovely day!
