一）趣味热身，激情导入
1. Greeting：
T:Hello, my friends! I’m very happy to see you. In this class, we will go on a trip to Beijing. T:How can we go to Beijing? S1:By plane. S2:?
T:Yes!We go to Beijing by train.
(师以手势使学生理解教室为模拟火车。This is a train. We will go on a trip to Beijing by train.出示火车图片）
Are you ready? Let’s go! We learnt a song .Do you remember it? Let’s sing together.
二）新知呈现，自主学习
1.Men, women and children
T :Now, we are on the train .
坐火车会遇到形形色色的人，不同的年龄、不同身份的人都可能和我们乘坐同一列列车。让我们这些同行的朋友们相互认识一下！ （1）（教师进行表演）
Hello! My name is Marry. Nice to meet you . I am seventy years old. I am a woman.（表演）

引出复数形式，This is a woman .One woman .These are women . Many women .板书：woman-women Read it many times.同学教单词，说复数变法。同样引出men,babies,children。 e.g.
a.指一个男人说:This is a man .One man .
齐说:These are men .Many men.(Write man→men on the blackboard)
b. This is a boy and a girl .Boys and girls are children .Children单词是个复数形式，它的单数形式是什么呢？Can we say “This is a children”? S: No! This is a child.
T: Great! child→children. These are many children. Do you know what’s the meaning of “many”?Can you tell me? (许多的) Make an example：Many books. Ask the students to say the similar phrases (rulers pens erasers ...)
