一)趣味热身,激情导入
1. Greeting:
T:Hello, my friends! I’m very happy to see you. In this class, we will go on a trip to Beijing. T:How can we go to Beijing? S1:By plane. S2:?
T:Yes!We go to Beijing by train.
(师以手势使学生理解教室为模拟火车。This is a train. We will go on a trip to Beijing by train.出示火车图片)
Are you ready? Let’s go! We learnt a song .Do you remember it? Let’s sing together.
二)新知呈现,自主学习
1.Men, women and children
T :Now, we are on the train .
坐火车会遇到形形色色的人,不同的年龄、不同身份的人都可能和我们乘坐同一列列车。让我们这些同行的朋友们相互认识一下! (1)(教师进行表演)
Hello! My name is Marry. Nice to meet you . I am seventy years old. I am a woman.(表演)

引出复数形式,This is a woman .One woman .These are women . Many women .板书:woman-women Read it many times.同学教单词,说复数变法。同样引出men,babies,children。 e.g.
a.指一个男人说:This is a man .One man .
齐说:These are men .Many men.(Write man→men on the blackboard)
b. This is a boy and a girl .Boys and girls are children .Children单词是个复数形式,它的单数形式是什么呢?Can we say “This is a children”? S: No! This is a child.
T: Great! child→children. These are many children. Do you know what’s the meaning of “many”?Can you tell me? (许多的) Make an example:Many books. Ask the students to say the similar phrases (rulers pens erasers ...)
