四、Teaching Procedures

1) Warm – up

a. Greetings;

b. Listen and sing the song: Let’s have a picnic today.

2)Reviews

T: Today it’s very sunny. Let’s have a picnic today , ok?

Then T shows a basket and asks: Look and guess, what’s in it?

Review the food words.

3) Presentation

Step1: Teach the words : ice cream , Coke

After Ss guessing the food words learned before ,T shows a picture of Coke and asks: Look, what’s this?

Teach the word: Coke.

T: Do you like Coke ?

Ss: Yes. / No.

T:Me , too. I like …,too.

T pretends to eat an ice cream and lets Ss guess , then teach the word .

Step2: Lead the sentences: I’d like some …

T: I’d like some apples , milk , bananas , bread for picnic. What would you like ?

Invite Ss to answer: I’d like some …,please.

Step3: Can I have some …,please?

T: Now I want to buy some food.(Ss act the shop assistant)Can I have some …,please?

Ss:

Practice the dialogue several times.

Step 4: Lead the story

T: Now we are full ,but our friends Zoom and Zip are hungry. What would they like?

Listen to the tape and answer the food Zoom would like.

S1: Some fish.

S2:Some …

Then listen to the tape and read after it.
