情感目标:通过了解西方姓氏,增强对中国姓氏的了解并热爱我国传统文化;通过介绍自己的老师,增进对老师的感情。

二 重点:

1读、理解单词our,人名Sandy White和句子I know . I don’t know.She speaks English well.

2会用 I know . I don’t know.She speaks English well.

三 难点:1读、理解单词our,人名Sandy White和句子I know . I don’t know.She speaks English well.

2会用She/He is … She/He has … She speaks English well.

四 学生分析:

四年级的小学生精力充沛,活泼好动,学习英语很有热情,他们已经学了一年多的英语,对英语单词及句子有了一定的认知和自己的记忆方法,但我班的学生对英语学习不是很用心,课后不复习,部分学生朗读有一定困难,不愿参与课堂活动,所以要强化单词句子的读与记忆及理解与运用。

五 教学过程:

Step 1 warming up

Let the students enjoy the song “Friends””(Unit 3 Page30)

.

Step2 Revision

1 Unit1 I ask ,you answer(Point to the objects in the classroom one by one)

2 Unit2 Look and say.(I take out some things in my bag and let them name them one by one)

Unit 3 Look at the picture and think of a word.

Step3 Presentation

1 Take out an object they don’t know to teach the sentences “Sorry, I don’t know.”and I know”

2 Let the students look at the pictures of Wu Yifan and Amy and teach “She speaks English well.”

3 Read the question and then listen to a dialogue and choose the right answer.Check their answers.

4 Have the stuents turn to Page 42 to read the dialogue to find the answer to the question “Who is John’s friend?”

Let them underline the answer on Page 42 and read it after me.

5 Have the students watch the dialogue (swf) and pay attention to its pronunciation and intonation .

6 Have the students watch and find the differences between western names and Chinese names.

Step3 Practice

1Have the students do role play( First Boys(John) VS Girls (Chen Jie)

Then pair work)

2 Show the picture of Miss White and let the students say something about her.(They can find the sentences in the dialogue.)
