Step 1: Warm-up
Have the students enjoy and follow the song: Letter sound
Greet with the students and introduce the new friend - May.
Step 2: Presentation and practice
Show the story to the Ss: Today is Monday and it’s May’s birthday. Let’s say happy birthday .I take a gift for May.That’s a painting. So I paint a rainbow for May.(Can I take a train to May’s home?) Then I wait a train in the rain(Let’s go ).This is the way to May’s home.(Now we are in Dianjiang Railway Station, how can I get to May’s home?OK Finish the following tasks , and you can get to May’s home. )
Task 1 :What can you find? List all the words with ay/ai on the blackboard and ask the students to help the words find their homes.
