Create the chain situation that the Miguel from the hit cartoon “coco” just came to visit our school and asked us for help. He would like to choose a best pet friend for his lonely pet Dante. Show the pictures and ask Ss to guess what the specific pet animals Miguel has seen and try to tell him why you think they make the best pet. Note down what the Ss have expressed.
Guess and tell the reasons why they think each of them the best pet.
Arouse Ss’ interest and prepare the words for writing.
2. Summary for word use
Tell the Ss to summarize the part of speech of the words noted down in the previous part for the best pet description.
Summarize the rules.
Inspire Ss to summarize the part of speech of the words used.

1. Create the chain situation that Miguel wrote an article to describe pet dogs and hopes we can follow his example to give him more details about other pets.
