T: When we talk about amazing things, I guess many of you will think of something like these.
Aliens: Do they look like people on the earth?
They are aliens. They come from other planets.
A monster: So, this is a famous monster in Loch Ness.
Many people said they saw it in the lake, but in fact, nobody saw it clearly.
A UFO: How do we call it? In Chinese, “不明飞行物” So, UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object. Identified means “未被证明的”.
B. Use adjectives to describe the things above
Amazing, strange, unusual, wonderful, surprising, unbelievable...
T: Then do you think these things are real or not?
Not sure. Because we didn’t see these things in our life.
But today, Eddie says he sees a UFO.

T: The world is full of amazing things. So, be full of means ”充满” or we can say “be filled with”(BD). Some things like aliens, UFOs are amazing because we aren’t sure if they are real. But others, although strange, are facts. We call them fun facts.
Look at pics and talk about fun facts
Pic1. Look at these two fish. Can you believe they are sleeping now? But their eyes are still open. So, fish sleep with their eyes open.
It seems amazing to us, right? Why? Because when we sleep, we close our eyes. That means, we sleep with our eyes closed.(BD)
Pic2. What are they trying to do? (sneeze)
Can you guess which pic is wrong? (the fourth)
Cause it’s a fact that when we sneeze we close our eyes. You can’t open your eyes and sneeze at the same time.
