Task 1 Revision

T: Hi, everyone! Are you interested in amaz ing things? I’d like to show you some pictures. Can you tell me anything amazing about them?

S: Fish sleep with their eyes open.

Elephants walk on their tiptoe.

There is no plant life without lightening.

we can’t sneeze and keep our eyes open at the same time.

Task 2 Presentation (Present the new words)

T: Look at the picture. Is this amazing? What’s it?

S: It may be a ghost.

T: I’m afraid of ghosts. I’m frightened. Are you frightened when you see the ghost in the picture?

S: Yes./ No.

T: Do you like ghost stories? Now I’ d like to tell you one.(Show the pictures and tell the story)

Tom’s parents went out for a holiday for a few days. They asked the boy to take care of himself. The following day Tom got back home as usual. The door was open. It was unusual. He looked around carefully! Nobody was there. But he heard a strange whisper in his house! He was frightened. He asked in a weak voice, “Is anybody here?” Nobody answered. So he searched around. Suddenly a ghost jumped out. It said, “Ah, I want to eat you.” Tom was very frightened.
