Step 1 Lead-in
1. Free talk
T: The world is full of amazing things.We learned some amazing things last class.Who can tell us some amazing things?
( some students stand up and show us some amazing things.)
2. Revision.
T: Now look at some pictures and say some amazing things about animals according to the pictures.
Then the teacher and students look at pictures together,and review amazing things about animals in the first period.

Step 2 Presentation
Listening.
T: OK,you all did good job.Today we’ll go on learning more amazing things about animals.Now ,please turn to page 63 and look at the four pictures of animals.and answer the question: what are they? What are the names of them?
(Students: they are giraffe,snake,camel and ants )
T:OK,Mr Wu is showing the pictures to Suzy.Listen to their conversation and put the pictures in correct order.write the numbers 1--4 in the boxes.
(The students listen carefully and write down the numbers 1--4 in the boxes)
T:OK,just look at the pictures and say something about them please
S1:A giraffe has long neck
S2: A snake lives in water.
S3: Camels are very tall.
S4:Ants are hardworking.
