重点:理解并掌握虚拟语气;

难点:掌握if、wish等在虚拟语气中的使用方法。

任务型教学法,多媒体教学法,自主学习和合作探究学习法

Ⅳ.教学过程:

Step 1 Lead-in

Ask the students to translate two sentences to find out the differences bewteen real and subjunctive. Help the students be impressed by the grammar.

Step 2 Goal

Present the goals through the screen. Let the students know that we are going to learn the Subjunctive Mood and they need grasp it as well as the use.

Step 3 Inquiry learning

1.the use of “if” in the Subjunctive Mood

Present some sentences on the screen. Lead the students to read them and translate, then conclude the use of “if” in the Subjunctive Mood.

过去完成时态 (had done),主 + could/would/should/might have done. (与过去相反)

If + 主+ 一般过去时态 (did / were),主 + could/would/should/might do. (与现在相反)

did/were to do/should do,主 + could/would/should/might do. (对将来的猜测)

Ask the students to find out some similarities among the structures.

2.the use of “wish” in the Subjunctive Mood

Guide the students to find the use if the Subjunctive Mood in the sentences with “wish”. ask them to conclude its use.

过去完成时态(had done). 与过去相反

I wish +主+ 一般过去时态(did / were). 与现在相反

could/would/should/might do. 将来的主观愿望

Help them find out the similarities between the use of “if” and “wish”.

3.the use of “suggest”, “ask”, “order” and other words in the Subjunctive Mood

The students should find out the structures of the use on these words. Help them gain that once they meet these words, they can use the Subjunctive Mood to make sentences.
