3. Emotion aim: Understand the feelings of the author behind poems to digest the poems.

三、教学重难点:

1.Cultivate the students’ ability of analyzing poems — rhyme,rhythm and repetition.

2.Learn to use different ways to appreciate the poems to explore the deep meanings.

3.Encourage students to share the feelings and intention of the poets behind the poems.

教学步骤:

Step1: Warm up----Listen to a song to find the characteristics of lyrics to feel the poems

Purpose: Review the skills learnt in the former reading part and cultivate the ability of analyzing poems — rhyme,rhythm and repetition, which can help the students to feel the poems better and more vividly, to find the beauty in style.

T: Good morning,welcome to my class. This is the first time that we have class together. You know what, I prepare a gift for all of you in such a beautiful morning. One requirement, while listening, pay attention to the lyrics with various marks, think about what do the marks stand for?

T: Do you like the song? Yes, Can anyone tell me, what are the characteristics of the lyrics in this song? what do these marks stand for?

Ss: We find rhyme,rhythm and repetition......

T: Yes, the lyrics have characteristics. so do the poems. The poems also have the characteristics. 1.They may have strong beats/ rhythms. (节奏) It’s a regular repeated pattern of sounds or movements. 2.They may have rhyming words.(押韵) A rhyme is a repetition of similar sounds in two or more different words ,which is mostly often used at the end of each line in poems. 3. They may have repetitions. (重复) The repetitions of words or sentences pattern can make the structure unique and the meaning impressive. These characteristics help us feel the poems better and more vividly, to find the beauty in style.

Step2: Lead in----Appreciate different poems from Chinese and western countries to taste the poems

Purpose: Learn to appreciate the poems from style and meaning. Lead the students to find out the function of poems in our life, and the reasons why poets want to write poems. Focus more on emotional expression. Taste the poems better can help us find the beauty in the meaning of poems.

T: Now, I prepare several poems.Although they are from different countries, ancient china and western countries, let’s read them with full emotions to feel the poems and taste the poems.

T: Are they beautiful? Yes, have you ever imagined, what our life will be like without poems, so why do we need poems so eagerly? Or why do people write poems? ......What can we get from poems?...... As we know, poems are mostly written to show people’s emotions, which can make our life and the world more colorful and beautiful! In Chinese , we have “ 诗言志,诗言情,诗歌合为事而作.” That is, people write poems for some certain reasons, then we have different kinds of poems. Tasting the poems better can help us find the beauty in the meaning of poems.

Step3: Fast reading---Read the poems to digest the poems

Purpose: To know the basic information of the poet, and check the skills learnt in the former part to find the beauty in style.

T: Combine the former two parts, feel the poem and taste the poem. Now, it’s time to digest the poem in this unit, can we read the brief introduction together? What is this poem about? Why did he write this poem? That’s what we are going to learn today, first of all, let’s listen to the poem, please pay attention to the rhythm and circle the rhyming words,try your best to follow it and imitate it with full of emotion and love.

T: That’s the poem ,can you find the rhythm in it? ......let’s try to circle the rhyming words, anybody?...... The same words but different meanings, can you tell the differences......

Step 4: Group Work---Which one is the better way to express the ideas?
