五、Teaching Procedures

Step1 One minute before class

Ask students to read the text.

Step2 Warming up

The teacher show a song about the present progressive.

Step3 Presentation

1.The teacher show a Micro lesson about the present progressive.(让学生进行自主学习)

2.The teacher ask students to summary the present progressive through the micro lesson.

现在进行时:表示现在正在进行动作。

句型结构:be+动词-ing

时间状语:now, look, listen,It’s …o’clock.

现在分词的构成方法:

(1)一般的动词在词尾加-ing: visit-visiting, study-studying

(2)以不发音的e结尾的动词,去掉e加-ing:come-coming ,live-living,leave-leaving

(3)以重读闭音节或r音节结尾的动词,末尾只有一个辅音字母的词,要双写这个辅音字母再加-ing: begin-beginning, swim-swimming, prefer- preferring , run-running

3. Show the photos, ask and answer: (从What are you doing?句型引出What is he doing?句型)

What’s he doing?

He’s making a plane.

What’s she doing?

She is swimming.

Step 4 Pairwork

The teacher ask students to make a conversation to practice the present progressive

Step 5 Drill and practice:

Students are divided into several students to act a family. Every student act an action ,then ask one of them introduce what they are doing.(通过情景操练,让学生体会现在进行时的实际应用。)
