Greet with the students

In this part, T shows students some parts of the film “Alice in wonderland.”Create a relaxed atmosphere, motivate students’ interests.

1Preparation for traveling to the wonderland..

2.Six tasks for traveling.

Teacher shows the title,then emphasizes the new word “wonderland”,shows three pictures to describe the word.Lead students to go into the wonderland.

Because the wonderland is a wonderful place, the students want to go into it. Teacher leads them to go into this place with Alice. But, there is one condition, the students must finish 6 tasks, then, they can open the gate and go into the wonderland.

Task 1 Enjoy the story, order the pictures. Teacher shows the story , students order.

Task 2 Listen to the recording about picture 1. Answer the questions. Teacher shows two questions first, then, broadcasts the recording. The students get the answers.

Task3 Read picture2&3, finish the table. In this task, teacher gives students a table and 4 phrases, then, gives them some time to read P2&3 by themselves. After reading, students put the phrases in the right places in the table.

Task4 Look at the picture4, describe the picture. In this part, teacher leads students to look at the picture4 carefully, then according to three questions to describe the content about the picture . The student can describe their pictures by their own words.

Task5 Find the way to get through the door. In this part, Alice is in the hole,but she cannot get through the door. If the students are Alices, what can they do? Teacher creates situation here, leads students to go into the whole, we are in the hole now, there is a bottle, a table and a key here. How to get through the door? Give students some time to think the methods.

Students present the method they think, then according to a practice to tidy this paragraph.

Task 6 Fill the blanks , read the whole story.
