【教学过程】

Ⅰ.课程导入(Leading In)

1.课前热身

教师与学生做课前简单交流.如:

T: Hello, Nice to see you here.

S1: Nice to see you, Miss / Mr...

T: Today is ... What are you going to do after class?

S1: I'm going to...

教师可再随意挑选出几位学生,鼓励其大胆作答,说出课后计划.

2.新课导入

Warming-up: Circle your birthday

教师可在学生回答完毕后,说出自己的计划:

T: And I'm going to a birthday party. Today is my friend Jack's birthday.

并顺势导入生日话题:

T: His birthday is on ... And my birthday is on ...(在年历上圈出自己的生日)What about your birthday?

Ⅱ.课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(presentation)

1.新课展示Part A Let's learn

(1)教授词汇birthday party.

a.教师承接上一环节,在学生感知birthday的含义后,板书并拼读单词:Birth-day, birthday.

b.学生读熟该单词后,教师继续引入:T: Jack is going to have a birthday party. Let's go to the party together.

c.教师出示birthday party的图片,让学生更直观地感知该词组的意义,然后板书并领读,并注意强调字母组合th在birthday中的发音为咬舌音[θ].

(2)教授单词gift.

T: We are going to Jack's birthday party. We are going to buy a gift for him.

教师一边拿出所准备的礼物—边问:

T: Look, what's this?

Ss: 礼物.(允许学生说中文.)
