Talk about the Earth with the students

T: What’s on the Earth?

S: There’s/There are…

T: There are lots of rivers, oceans and lakes. And there is lots of water in them. (teach: lots of water)

T: What’s in the Earth?

T/S: There is some oil and coal in her body. (teach: coal, oil)

T: We use the coal to make electricity. We use the oil to make gas. Most of our energy comes from coal and oil. (teach: energy, most of)

Enjoy another cartoon.

T: Living with human beings, the earth was happy before. But now there is less and less clean water. There are less and less forests. Smoke from cars and factories makes the air dirty. We are asking too much from the Earth. She is so sad. As the children of the Earth, what should we do?
