四、教学过程:
Step 1 warming-up
1.Sing the song :Old MacDonald .
2.Review the animals we learn before by chanting .
3.Ask some Ss to act the animals and others guess.
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1.展示动物的一小部分图片然后问学生Are they …?
At first Ss can just answer Yes or No, then they will try to answer completely, Yes they are. /No, they aren't.
2.展示一组图片，一个tall 一个short.结合其它动物复习之前学过的有关描述动物的形容词。大是big 小是small,高是tall, 矮是Short, 长是long,短是short.
结合动物和这些形容词操练。
Are they big? Yes they are. /No, they aren't.
3课文教学：
(1)Observe the page 35 activity one, what animals can you see. Monkey, bear , bird.
(2)What are doing ? They are having a competition.
Who win? Bear .
Why? Because it is very strong.
