Step1: Warming up

1. Sing a song about the numbers.

2. Greetings.

Step2: Presentation

Lead- in: What can you hear?

(Play a recording)

T: What can you hear?

S1: I can hear a dog.

S2: I can hear a cat.

Sn: I can hear a clock.

T: Yes, this is a clock. (Show them a clock) Today we’ll continue to learn Unit 5 What time is it.

Review the new words.

Listen to part B and repeat.

B. Game: To read lips.

(The teacher reads the words in lip language and the students guess the words.)

Learn the new sentences.

A. Use an animation scene to present the key structures.

Show the keysentences, teach them.

Practice: What time is it?

(Present different scenes. Students talkabout what time it is.)
