学生能在语言、图片的帮助下读懂故事,并运用正确的语音语调朗读故事。

2.难点:学生能表演故事并在实际情景中运用所学语言。

三、教学准备:

相关音视频、图片、课件、Monkey,Hippo,Rabbit,Zip,Zoom的头饰。

四、Teaching steps:

Step 1 Warm-up

1.Greetings.

2.Chant!

Using chant to introduce new course.

Step 2 Preparation

1.Review!

1)Answer the questions:What’s this?Where is it?

2)Use guessing games to review the words and sentence patterns learned in this module. The patterns “Is that the…?Yes, it is. /No, it` s not. This is....”

(利用问答练习及猜谜游戏复习学过的学校各功能教室的名称,为学习新知做好铺垫。)

Step2 Presentation

1. “There are many visitors to visit Mr Hippo’s school. Mr Hippo’s school is very beautiful.If you want to visit the shool,you must finish these tasks.”

(设计意图:通过看听问答,让学生从整体上感知文本回答问题Where are they? 利用任务激发学生的学习热情,自然进入下一环节。)

2.Learn by oneself and dub for the pictures.

Deal with the difficulties in the text through self-study and dubbing activities.

3.Let the students perceive the text by watching the text diagram and listening to the dialogue.

4.Read the text by yourself and underline something that you

don’t know .

5.Work in groups.

Teach and read the text in groups and help each other。
