1.重点：

学生能在语言、图片的帮助下读懂故事，并运用正确的语音语调朗读故事。

难点：学生能表演故事并在实际情景中运用所学语言。

三、教学准备：

相关音视频、图片、词卡、Monkey、Hippo、Rabbit、Zip，Zoom的头饰和动物服装，以及奖励学生用的进步卡和每次课堂的英语之星胸章。

四、教学过程：

Step1 Preparation

Hello，boys and girls.Nice to meet you again！How are you?Today we will have a funny class, and there are seven groups .If you do well, you can get a mark .Come on!

1.教师播放歌曲《My school》

1）学生和老师一起拍手跟唱歌曲。

2）Answer the question：What is the song about？

（设计意图：）通过欣赏歌曲活跃课堂气氛导入话题。

2．Review

The song is about school，there are many rooms in the school John` s school has many rooms, What are they? Sharp eyes!

1）快看快说游戏复习单词句子。

（设计意图）用Sharp eyes!头脑风暴复习学过的学校课室,two PK two抢答单词，谁抢到得到一个卡片，为学习新知做好铺垫。）

2）Talk about John` s school like this：

Is that the…? Yes, it is. /No，it is n’t.

（设计意图：通过让学生谈论主情境图中的学校课室复习旧知并为学习新知做好铺垫。)

Step2 Presentation

1.通过看文本图、自己初读对话让学生感知文本。

出示课本情境图问：Who are they? Guess！

Watch and find: Where are they?

They are in the hippo’s ___________.

（设计意图：通过看听问答，让学生从整体上感知文本回答问题Where are they? 对文本内容有整体印象。）

2．Second watch：read and answer the question.(读并回答下列问题)：Where do they visit in Hippo `s school?看视频,找出小动物们参观的课室。

（设计意图：我通过让学生读故事、看故事视频选择出A让学生抓出故事的主线索——动物们共同参观的五个课室。）

3. Third watch: read after the radio.Watch and answer：回答Is that the lunch room? Yes or no？让学生通过看视频，听出Is that the lunch room?教师用PPT出示lunch room的图片由hungry到lunch room运用u的短音发音规则让学生试着拼读lunch，运用图片帮助学生理解意思。由一名学生当小老师教读句型Is that the lunch room?m

4. Forth watch:read and retell.(朗读并复述句子)（设计意图：使学生根据读图、看视频猜测No ,it’s not.=No, it isn’t.） Watch picture 6 and find： What does the hippo say?21*It’s time for lunch! PPT出示It’ s time for lunch!再出示钟表上12点的时刻引导学生思考句型的意思It` s time for lunch!通过语音迁移字母“i-e”发音学生试读出“time ”, It` s time for lunch. 师板书、领读、小组内练习。
