3. Aims on the emotion

a. By completing the tasks, the Ss can increase their interest and be more self-confidence.

b. The students love our school more deeply and cherish the school life.

教学重难点

The key points are communication, group cooperation study, talking about the school function rooms and sites. At the same time, increase the Ss’ interest and self-confidence.

The difficult points are imitating writing the key sentences and using a short passage to introduce the school in English.

课前布置小组评价:将学生分成六个小组,每组的盒子里有小图片。Speak louder (one picture)

Speak louder + say more sentences (two pictures)

最后用自己赢得的图片来设计一所新的学校。

Step 1 Warming-up

Greeting

Listen and sing the song, "Our school".

(设计意图:活跃课堂气氛。)

Step 2 Presentation

Introduce Sherman and say “hello”to Sherman.

(设计意图:创设情境,吸引学生注意力。)

To be a little guider

What’s in our school?

(设计意图:复习本单元重点词汇,同时板书呈现这些词汇。)

3.Introduce our school

Show some pictures of school function rooms and sites, let the students introduce them with the sentence patterns, "This is.../That is...".

(设计意图:练习用本单元重点句型this is /that is来介绍学校功能教室和地点。)

4.Guessing game :Which room is in my hand?

利用词卡随机抽取单词,学生用is this /is that ...来进行猜测。

(设计意图:采用游戏形式,巩固本单元的一般疑问句,既复习了重点知识,同时激发学生兴趣。)
