Step 2: Preview & Lead-in

Observe the pictures of some famous person or occupation, review the words about jobs that learned before and lead in the new sentence pattern “What does he/she do?” .

eg: Who is he?

He is Jay.

What does he do?

He is a singer.

Step 3: Presentation

Learn the new words: factory, worker, postman, businessman, police officer

Let’s relay

Play a game to consolidate the new words and the sentence “What does he do?” Then lead in the sentence patterns“Is your father a postman?No, he isn’t.”

Listen to the tape and read the dialogue after it.

Step 4: Consolidation & Extention
