Step 1 discussion

Introduce the hero Darcy and heroine Elizabeth to students. Present a photo of Darcy, and ask them to describe him with three words.

Step 2 Scanning

Ask students to go through the passage—— “the proposal” from Pride and Prejudice quickly and think about the question“Did Elizabeth accept Darcy’s proposal?”

Step 3 Reading
