Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Warming up

1. Greetings.

2. Enjoy the song "Where are you going?"

师生一起演唱歌曲,活跃课堂气氛,调动学生学习积极性。

Step 2 Presentation and practice

1. Show the class a picture of mine and present the new word " teacher " and the topic. 用自己的照片引出“teacher”这个单词,教学teacher,并由此引出课题“jobs职业”。

2. Show a picture of an individual student. Learn the word "student".用本班一个同学的照片呈现单词“student学生”并学习此单词。

3. Show 6 students' pictures and they begin their travel to the year of 2037 by time machine. Introduce each of them, let the class to look and listen to the record, and then ask them try to find out the job words in the passage and underline the right words. 呈现6个同班同学的照片,他们通过搭乘时光机来到2037年,一边通过逐个展现这六个同学20年后的卡通形象图(利用美图秀秀软件经过优化抠图等技术处理再合成图片),一边播放人物介绍录音(利用网络技术将英文文本转化为录音朗读文件,并利用“喀秋莎”软件录制电脑内部声音),然后让学生尽量找出短文中表示职业的6个单词并用下划线标记,以对本堂课将要学习的单词形成初步的感知。

4. A scene of a party. Input the key words. Practice reading. 创设二十年后同学聚会的场景,让全班通过聆听同学两两对话的方式学习对话中呈现的新单词,并跟录音练习发音朗读,同时,老师随机检查学生发音情况。逐一学习完本堂课的新授单词后,整体带读。

4. High - voice and low - voice. 通过“大小声”教学活动的设计,让学生以一种更轻松愉快的方式操练新授单词。

5. Vocabulary cloud. 利用网络技术将文字转换成图形,呈现“词汇云”,让学生从中辨认出本堂课的重点词汇。

5. A game: Magic eyes. To consolidate the vocabulary. 通过“魔法眼睛”的游戏,让学生饶有兴趣地进一步巩固对本堂课新授单词的掌握。

6. Input the pattern. Make sure the Ss are able to say it well. 呈现并操练本堂课的重点句型,确保学生能准确地运用。

7. Sing a song: What do you do? Practice the pattern. 以歌曲的形式操练句型,加深对句型的理解记忆。

8. A guessing game. Introduce the game rule by a micro-course video. Finish it in groups of 4. “微课”展示活动规则与程序,学生以四人小组互动互助活动的形式在游戏中学习运用本课重点句型。

Step 3 A survey

All the students travel to the year of 2037. They are all in the party. Let them go around the class and talk with their classmates about their jobs. Do a survey. And then make a report. Use the tablet PC to take photos of some individual students' work and show to the class. 模拟二十年后全班同学聚会的场景,以录音和文本的方式示范,让学生开展调查活动,完成调查表格和汇报文本填空,将“说”和“写”相结合。

Step 4 Summary

Sum up the points of this period together with the class. 小结本堂课学习的重点内容。

Step 5 Extension

Let the class enjoy a song. Ask them to find how many jobs there are at the same time. Help them try to get more knowledge about jobs. And encourage them to set up their own ideals and work hard to make them into truth. 通过让学生欣赏歌曲“What do you want to be?”,拓展学生对职业的认知,并激励学生从小树立理想并为之努力奋斗。

Step5 Homework

1. Copy the new words, each a line. Then read them by heart.(抄写新单词,每个一行;熟读。)

2. Talk about your father’s and your mother’s jobs. Then set up your ideal together with your parents.
