教学过程:

Step 1 Warming up

1. Greetings

2. Present goals for this lesson

3. Free talk

e.g. How many days are there in a week? What are they? What day is it today?

What about tomorrow? And the day after tomorrow

Teach: weekends Saturdays + Sunday=weekends (导入课文标题)

Step 2 Presentation and practice

1. I can talk:(The students’ weekends)

30-Second Non-Stop Talking (四人一组,三十秒内不间断谈论关于周末活动)

2. I can guess:(The teacher’s weekends)

a. What does Miss Ji do at weekends? (根据关键词和线索的提示,猜测老师的周末活动)

Teach: visit, grandparents, chat with …

b. How often does Miss Ji do these things? (根据板书上的柱状图,猜测老师周末活动的频率)

Teach: always, often, sometimes (引导学生将频率副词与不同个数的星星对应)

3. I can answer:(our friends’ weekends)

Watch the cartoon and answer: What are they talking about?

4. I can find

Read and circle what they do at weekends?(阅读课文,圈出周末活动短语)

5. I can mark

Work in four. Read and complete the form with stars.

四人一组,再读课文,用★表示周末活动的频率完成表格!
