Present some pictures about festivals.

多媒体展示节日图片,导入国庆节,教学National Day

Present the calendar, then show the National Day holiday (揭示课题:Holiday fun)

Step 2. Presentation & Practice

1. Part One:Talk about Liu Tao’s holiday

a. Look and guess

T: Look at the picture. Liu Tao and Mike came back to school after the National Day holiday.

b.Watch and answer

Q: How were their holiday?

A: They were great fun. (teach: great fun)

c. Read the part one and underline the questions

Q1: Where did you go for the holiday?

A1: I went to Shanghai and visited my aunt.

Q2: What did you do there?

A2: We went to the Bund and visited the Shanghai Museum. (teach the new words)

d. Listen and repeat Part one

e. Think and write: What did Liu Tao do for the National Day holiday?

2. Part Two:Talk about Mike’s holiday

a. Ask some questions about Part two

Q1: How about Mike’s holiday?(It was great fun.)
