T: On different holidays, people have a lot of fun. Today we’ll learn Unit 3 Holiday fun!

2.Teach : National Day , the National Day holiday

Look and learn

T: Look at the calendar. Last week, we had a holiday. It’s National Day. It’s on the first of October. National Day holiday is from the first day to the seventh day of October. ( Read the cards: National Day , the National Day holiday)

3. Teach: Where did you go for…? I went to…/ What did you do for…?I …ed.

a. Talk about the teacher’s National Day holiday.

T: I went to Nanjing. I visited the Hongshan Zoo.( show the sentences)

How to know? Ask me these questions: Where did you go for National Day holiday ? What did you do there? (show the questions)

S: (Read the questions and answers)

b. Work in pairs: Fast talking

T:This time, please talk about this holiday with your partners. Use the sentences: Where did you go for the holiday? What did you do there?

c. Check the answers( 请2-3 组操练)
