Ⅰ.Pre-task preparation

1. Greet with the whole class.

T: Hello, How are you today?

S1: I’m fine. Thank you. How are you today, Miss …?

T: I’m great, thank you.

2. Review the letters: Sing the ABC song.

3. Show a picture of Sing a song. Learn the words: orange, purple and brown.

T: (point to the orange colour of the rainbow)

What colour is it?

S1: It’s orange.

T: (point to the purple colour of the rainbow)

What colour is it?

S2: It’s purple.

Ⅱ.While-task procedure

Listen and follow. Play the video for Say and act. The students listen and repeat.

Play the recording for Say and act. Students listen and follow.

T: (Show the yellow pen) What color is it?

S1: It’s yellow.

T: (Show the blue pen) What color is it?

S2: It’s blue.

Role-play the dialogue. Invite several groups to act out the dialogue before the class.
