Greetings

T: Good morning, boys and girls! Ss: Good morning, Miss Wang!

T: Now, we’re going to have our English lesson. First, Miss Wang would like to give you four suggestions in my class:

Show the students the title of this lesson. Unit 6 Out door fun Down the rabbit hole Reading1

T: Look at the three pictures. What are they?

S: Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White.

T: Yes. And we can call them fairy tales. Among them, what is your favourite?

T: Well. Different people have different ideas. Today we will talk about one of them called Alice in wonderland.What do you know about this book?

It’s a book written by Lewis Carroll in 1865. He was a Maths teacher in England.The book is very famous and has been translated into at least 125 languages and made into a cartoon film.

Step 2 Presentation

Pre-reading.

T: Chapter 1 of the book is Down the rabbit hole. From the title, what do you want to know?

Let’s predict with Wh-words: who, when, where, why, what, how.

T: Scan the story and find out the answers to the questions.

T: Find out the right place for each picture and put them in the right order.

2. While-reading.

T: Read Para.1-3quickly and silently and then answer the questions.

T: Look at the rabbit, is there anything special about the rabbit? (Teach the word “special”)
