Step 1.Warming-up
Play a bomb game to review some phrases such as : riding a bike, flying a kite, skipping ,swimming, running, playing football/basket ball…
Step 2 Leading –in
T:I like playing basketball. What do you like?
S1:I like riding a bike.
T:(point to S1) lead the students to say:“He likes….”
T:Ok.Look,this is Lingling. What do Lingling and his friends like? Let’s watch and answer.
Step 3. Presentation&Practise.
(1)Watch activity 1and let the students answer what Lingling and her friends like.
The teacher asks one student to be Lingling to say: I like… He likes… according to the PPT.
(2)Watch and repeat.
(3)Picture reading: Show a picture of activity 2 and ask :What can you see in the picture? Then watch the video and answer:What’s in Sam’s bag?
(4)Teach the word‘pictures’and the sentence :‘this is…’
(5)Watch and answer:What are they doing?
(6)Practice the sentence:He/She is reading/watching…
